Kiroro Peak vs Tomamu
My review is from my ski trip during 2023/2024 Winter Season trip at Club Med Kiroro. My experience there is so different from Club Med Tomamu during 2022/2023 Winter Season.
Kiroro Peak is a smaller resort vs Tomamu.
As it is adult-only resort, it felt like there's not as much warmth in this resort compared to Tomamu, where we all felt like we were amongst family and friends. Tomamu's GOs and staff including Eric, the CDV, were super friendly and most of them remembered the GM by their names, even though it’s a much bigger resort. I strongly believe this is due to the chief’s excellent leadership by setting a good standard and example.
However, there are some GOs in Kiroro that are worth mentioning, like Atom, Eddy, Theo, Isla, Yupa, Hiro, JP, Milk & especially Young, Winter & Tong. They’re extremely friendly, super helpful and try their very best to make our stay comfortable and well fed.
As for entertainment , Tomamu is definitely better, kudos to Carol the entertainment manager, for her dedication in making us merry and entertained.
However, the ski/snowboarding instructors in Kiroro are better than Tomamu, they are more serious in their work especially some instructors like Marco, Hero and Kamesh. Rachel in particular is quite enthusiastic in imparting their knowledge, very engaging and encouraging with guests.
One brownie point for Kiroro are the super helpful GOs and staffs helping us with our boots every morning.
Food wise, both resorts are equally good.
Overall, either Tomamu has set a good standard or Kiroro still has a ways to go.
If I am ever going back to Club Med, Tomamu will definitely be my first choice.

So good we booked again immediately
Quite an overdue review, but this trip was so good I kept remembering it.
Clubmed Kiroro was so accomodating as I joined in last minute with my friends for a ski/snowboarding trip, the instructors Josh was very professional and friendly, check-in was smooth and food was amazing, there is always food provided ( Breakfast/lunch/teatime/dinner/supper/alcohol) and the General Manager Hailey was so friendly and helpful, when I needed to change my transport to Chitose airport that was promptly handled by her. The check-in staff Isla was also very friendly.
We had such a good time there that we booked another holiday with them on Feb 2025 and are totally looking to spend a good time there again!

Excellent, deserves 7 star!
Where do I begin? When things are so excellent and everything in perfection, sometimes you just lost the words to represent how you feel. To me the a jumble of happiness of being in Club Med Kiroro Peak is a bit hard to describe.
Here goes.
I arrived a bit sceptic about the whole thing, but within 30 minutes that is all just replaced with amazement, first to the hospitality of the staff or GO as they call themselves. We came in after flight delays, so its very late into the lunch hour, going down a bit hungry, Eddy quickly whisked me to the restaurant before the kitchen close. Its a simple gesture, but I tell you this never happens in any other hotel I have been through. I thought this is just one person kindness and hospitality, not really, its the standard practice of everyone on board.
From that moment on, its just an endless of beautiful service one after another. We see the staffs really try hard to make everyone feel welcome. They joined us for dinner, casual talks, and before you know it, at the end of the second day, you feel like you basicly among family and friends.
Manager Dicky, GO Pang, Noor, Eddy, Raditto and Gandar, kudos to all of you to make this the best trip ever!
In the kitchen, Chef David, and Mrs Rolyn, excellent food. I haven't seen a single repeat of food in the 4 days we were there. I think the food and drinks are top notch beyond my highest expectations.
In the bar, Bartender Anton is always quick with his ideas, mixing up drinks on the fly, surprising us with his creativity.
Now the ski lessons.
First of all, Kiroro Peak is a ski-in and ski-out resort.
Unlike other on-piste resorts, this is an actual ski out right at the doorstep. No long walks on hilly / flat terrain. Its just out and go!
Instructor Hiro, Luca, and Tom, with their guidance, we gained so much skills in the 3 days that we never did in other resorts. Looking forward to come back!
Locker facilities are fantastic, and if you want to try snow hiking, Kiroro Peak got the most beautiful trail walk ever.
There you go. Nothing less than 5 star on everything. I think Club Med Kiroro Peak deserves 2 extra stars on top. That is a solid 7 star from me.
You guys surely are the best.

Come here if you want inclusive ski and snowboard lessons!
- If you are travelling from Sapporo city, there is shuttle buses that takes you directly to both clubmed Kiroro Peak and Grand.
- All the rooms are located within the main building of Kiroro Peak, including all the facilities such as indoor sports and Onsen.
- The regular G.O are all amazing as well as the ski instructors, all did well to engage the guest like they are G.O too.

Amazing Club Med hospitality
An amazing experience from Club Med Kiroro Peak, we travelled in the middle of April as the season was close to ending yet still received incredible personal attention from GM Haily, Winter and Eddy in the restaurant, Tong and Samit in the bar who played pool and table tennis with our kids. But also Jay, Phil, Noor, Eddie, Rachel, Ahmed. Special mention to Gabriel, Energia! and Naz our ski instructor. Food and service couldn’t have been better. Lots of fun. Thanks!
