Sahoro Hokkaido Japan

It was truly an amazing experience. Every service staff, especially Patrik (our snowboarding instructor), Anjas, Tamaki, Franco, and the different teams were all so hospitable and fun to hang with!! The shows were cute, funny, and it showed how much effort the team took to put on a fantastic performance every night! definitely recommend this to my friends for our next winter hangout!

A magical 5-star stay at Club Med Sahoro, led by the incredible Chief of Village Haily and her fantastic team. My husband and I skied with Luca from Argentina for the entire trip, and his patient, professional instruction helped us improve far more than expected. In the restaurant, manager Benz and his team member Sergio delivered warm, attentive service! The highlight was the Tokachi wagyu beef shabu-shabu, a beautifully marbled, melt-in-the-mouth Hokkaido specialty that is truly to die for. Cannot recommend this resort highly enough!

First time skiing and never the last! My instructor Kai is the best, transforming me from a true blue beginner to almost the pro I wanted to become in less than 5 days. Haily and Anjas was the perfect hosts, clearly the reason why our first family Club Med experience has been so AMAZING!

We were guests for a family vacation during the first week of December.
For better evaluation, I will evaluate our observations by topics:

Transportation: Perhaps the only negative aspect of the hotel was that transportation was very tiring.
Of course, this may have been influenced by the fact that we came from a distant country.

Accommodation: The rooms had a minimalist design typical of Japanese culture.
However, they were very clean and tidy. Therefore, I was satisfied with the rooms.

Cuisine: I had concerns about East Asian cuisine, and I was prejudiced that it might not appeal to me.
However, Tuncer Chef shattered all my preconceptions; his smile and delicious food changed my view of Asian cuisine.
I thank him and his team for these wonderful meals.

Activities: The miniclub for children is fantastic. My children had a great time with activities throughout the day.
The mini club is a blessing for families with children. They have solved the biggest problem encountered in other hotels, which is the noise of children, with mini club activities.
My husband and I also had the opportunity to take skiing lessons, which were very good.

Lanscape: It has a peaceful nature with a snowy atmosphere. Furthermore, the hustle and bustle of the city and the suffocating crowds you might encounter in other countries are absent here.
The hotel is located in a quiet spot for those who want to relax and enjoy the view.

Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel.
I would recommend Club Med Sahoro to those who are willing to take a long trip from Europe.

Since it is my 2nd visit to Club Med Sahoro, I felt welcomed & familiar with some of the GOs and snowboard instructors. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by one of my previous snowboard instructors, Dan G., while on his off day, Shiho from Welcome & Service team, and CDV, Haily, whom I met at Club Med Kiroro Peak last year. Then I was informed I can have an afternoon SB3 lesson with a 1-day ski pass for free after my lunch upon hearing my request. Miguel was my previous season's SB3 instructor and coincidentally assigned as my afternoon SB3 lesson's instructor. It was a very rewarding session as my fear of performing continuous S turn was overcome almost instantaneously after observations from Miguel while I snowboard down chairlift 6. Miguel was innovative and full of high-energy vibes which made lessons with him fun, and corrected my issues ingeniously. He was also able to keep lessons interesting with good pace for progression for both SB3 and SB4 students combined.
